Before the World Cup I posted a page about the new coming star Michel Bastos with a lithal left foot. He was a left wing, but Dunga gave him the left back position.
Apparently, it was a disaster, as his position was a clear gap, and I remember "Tarek Dhiab" in Jazeera Sport Channel kept talking about Bastos weakness from the first game against North Korea. Both of Netherlands goals came from that side.
This week Bastos scored both Lyon goals in the Champion League in a 2-0 victory. The first goal, especially, shows the quality of the player (watch the second replay, amazing goal)
Was Dunga wrong in putting Bastos as a left back defender and not free him at the front?
