A flavour of what will be missing (Egypt)

I always find that African World Cup Qualification does not introduce to the World Cup best teams in the continents. In the second round, 20 teams are divided into five groups, and only the first qualify. In 2006, there were six teams in each group.

This means any tie or defeat and the team can say bye bye to the World Cup. Egypt was African Cup Nations winner for the last three times, and failed to qualify to the World Cup each time.

Algeria deserved to qualify to the World Cup, without a single doubt. Yet, the draw should be more fair and allow a team like Egypt a second chance to qualify. Today, Egypt is the best team in Africa, and it is very hard to debate that opinion. Yet, they will watch the World Cup from TVs.

This is a flavour of what we will be missing. This is a goal scored in the classical derby of Al-Ahli vs. Al-Zamal yesterday in Egypt Cup

More flavour from African Cup 2010:
Gedo goal vs. Mozambique   Egypt Algeria 4-0   Ahmad vs. Benin
And Gedo wonderful goal in the final vs. Ghana

Or the Confederation Cup 2009:
Egypt three goals in Brazil (3-4)
Egypt Goal in Italy (1-0)
