I read the following in the zonal marking site about Brazil x Chile game. I found it very good opinion and summarizes a lot of discussion about Brazilian ability to win the World Cup:
Brazil look more impressive with every game. Then again, at this stage four years ago they were looking fine, and then they crashed out with a poor display against France in the quarter-final, so the superlatives should wait. But they start Friday’s game against Holland as favourites, and should also be considered favourites to win the competition.
I agree, except with one thing. In 2006, they didn't look as good when they beat Ghana. They were not very convincing to me, with many gaps and not a lot of chances. And most important, they lacked so much passion and fighting motivation in 2006. This year, the psychological part is much better.
