Wonderful opening game

I was not very optimistic to watch a wonderful opening game, so the game came beyond my  expectations. I was little disappointed by Mexican side, and more impressed by the South African one.

Mexico played very slow, and the defence was often playing in one line, that created many gaps for the opponents. Blanco seemed over-weight and was a burden for his team. They missed many chances to regret, and needed a big defencisve mistake to score.

South African side, looked very discipline, very passionate, and playing the simple, and very quick counter attack football. Their goal was outstanding one, great speed, team work and finishing. They were very unlucky at the last minute.

The 1-1 result was a fair one, though either team would have won the game at any moment.

The other game just finished. Very disappointing. France lacked efficiency, Uruguay is as usual. I never see Uruguay playing well outside South America. I wish South Africa and Mexico to reach the second round. Chances are equal for all teams.
