1974 history repeating itself?

When you watch few World Cups, you start seeing patterns, which looks like that history is repeating itself. This is because there are only 6 yo 8 teams only that can really dream for winning the world cup. So, it is so common to see many patterns and coincidences when these teams play against each others.S

When I was watching the Brazil vs. Netherlands quarter final, I thought I am watching the 1994 Quarter Final.

• Brazil tactical style is somehow close to the 1994 team.
• Slow start, then beating a wonderful african side 3-0.
• Third not very important game was a boring one ended with a tie.
• They meet Netherlands at the QF just like 1994
• So, when I was watching Brazil winning then tying 1-1. I thought okay, now it is time for Brazil to prove itself to the world.
• When the orange scored the second, I was like, oppppps, this does not look fine. That was not the 1994 at all.
• When Melo got his red card, it was apparent, it was the 1974 QF. That day Netherlands scored twice, and Parriera got a red card, just like Melo.

Now, the second semi-final will be very tough. Germany got big chance of reaching the final,
that will be a replica of the 1974 final.

Will it? or we will see a final, with a definite new WC champion, something that didn't happen in the football since 1978 World Cup?
