Xavi and Dunga are masters of Passes

Xavi is becoming more and more interesting for everyone in the world including myself. What is so amazing about this player is his normal body, and his simplicity in playing the football. He is one of best ever players in doing difficult stuff and making them appear so simple.

He is the mastermind and the core of the Spain team Spine. I remember that statistics during Inter x Barcelona second leg this year, Xavi did more passes than the entire Inter team.

I used to say in 1994, Dunga might be more important to Brazil than Romario. I think this is what was missing in Brazil this year. Someone who can back the link between the defending style players and the strikers.

Oh, I am reading this peice, and surprised, Dunga had passes, even more than Zizou in 1998.

Wow, Beckenbauer, as a defender he had most passes in that world cup. I watched classics of few games of Beckenbauer in 1974, and everytime I saw him I like him more. His role to Germany was not that much different from Zizou to France.

I bought the 1974 final to watch Johan Cruyff and I ended up watching Franze. Then, I decided to get more games for him.

This artcile has more interesting infos on role of midfields of Spain team in this victory.
